Zoe's Office - March 7

Mar 07, 2007 09:58

Today marked yet another round of the eternal battle between Zoe and school-related paperwork. Zoe was currently winning, but the tide could turn at any moment.

The door was open for anyone who needed to talk to her.

Dean knocked on the door. "Hi, you busy?"

"Not too busy," she replied, waving him in. "Come on in."

Dean grinned and stepped inside, carrying a bag. "How are things going? Good break?"

"Anytime I have a whole week without having to worry about school matters is a good break," Zoe said, laughing. "Did you have fun?"

Bel was dragging his feet going to talk to Zoe, but Phoebe was there to give him a firm push if necessary. It was best to get his status at school straightened out quickly, after all. He hesitated in the doorway and knocked on the doorframe.

Phoebe was indeed with Cole, giving him what encouragement she could with her presence there.

Zoe glanced up at the knock, and smiled broadly at both of them. "Well, hello there."

"Um, hi," Bel said, shifting uncomfortably. "Um, I'm not sure what you've been told, but I'm not dead, and I'm not evil. Anymore. But I was wondering if I'd been expelled or anything."

Jamie is respecting the 100 feet distance between himself and the PA system.

And is hopefully out of range from any weapon Principal Washburn might have.

"Hi Principal Washburn!" Jamie shouted from out in the hallway.

Ah, there was the rise in blood pressure that Zoe so desperately needed.

"Hello Jamie," she shouted back.

"Would you like some pie?" Jamie asked politely but in a very loud fashion.

"No thank you," Zoe replied, just as loudly. "I'm on a pie-free diet."

Deadpool said he was going to get Zoe a television and so, a few weeks after said promise, he walked into her office and finally delivered.

"Now I couldn't get a hold of some DVDs of Little House on the Prairie for you, but I think you can pick a few shows on your own now."

Zoe glanced back and forth between Deadpool and the television, staring in disbelief. "Uh, thank you?" she said. "I wasn't expecting you to actually get a TV for me."

He set it down on her desk. "Nonsense! I said I'd get you a TV so you can learn about the wonders of old sitcoms and here it is," He told her, grinning proudly.

She still felt a little strange about this, but she figured that maybe getting a TV balanced out the whole kidnapping thing a bit. "It looks like a very nice TV, thank you. And I should be able to watch these sitcoms you keep talking about?"

El Mariachi knocked on the door. "Principal?"

Zoe looked towards the door from the papers she was shuffling. "Hello. What brings you by?"

El stepped in. "I assume that you remember, some time back, when Miss Santos was kidnapped?"

Zoe nodded solemnly. "I do, yes."
