Zoe's Office - March 7

Today marked yet another round of the eternal battle between Zoe and school-related paperwork. Zoe was currently winning, but the tide could turn at any moment.

The door was open for anyone who needed to talk to her.

Dean knocked on the door. "Hi, you busy?"

[bigdamndean]

"Not too busy," she replied, waving him in. "Come on in."

Dean grinned and stepped inside, carrying a bag. "How are things going? Good break?"

[bigdamndean]

"Anytime I have a whole week without having to worry about school matters is a good break," Zoe said, laughing. "Did you have fun?"

[saltandammo]

"Oh yeah. Was a blast. Even if we did have to deal with imps in one of the rides."

[bigdamndean]

"Imps?" she asked. "That doesn't sound like something that's supposed to be on a ride."

[saltandammo]

"It wasn't. Alec and I went back after hours and got rid of them." He grinned briefly. "Just another Winchester vacation."

Zoe laughed. "Should I take that as a warning?"

[saltandammo]

"Maybe," Dean said, still grinning. He hefted the bag. "Speaking of Winchesters, I got a couple of things for the newest one."

[bigdamndean]

"Aww, that's real sweet of you, Dean. Thank you," Zoe said, lighting up.

[saltandammo]

Dean shrugged and ducked his head. "Got stuff for Sammy; seemed only fair I get stuff for the baby too."

[bigdamndean]

Zoe grinned. "I'm sure he or she will be very thankful for the gifts."

[saltandammo]

"You can open it in their place," Dean said, grinning again.

[bigdamndean]

"I like the sound of that idea," she said, gladly taking the bag from Dean.

Dean watched as Zoe pulled out the teething stuffed lion and baby mobile he'd got for his new little sibling.

It's possible that the hormones were starting to get to Zoe, as the awwing noise she made got more high-pitched. "Oh Dean, these are adorable. Thank you."
