club election update

OK, that was mildly embarassing. Not only was I not elected, I was 7th of 7 candidates with votes from less than 20% of those casting votes. My only hope is that I wasn't a spoiler for markasparov8. If more than a couple of those who voted for me had voted for him instead, he might have won the fourth seat rather than the person I really didn't want to see

I think the third is actually a reasonable possibility, since while Scott loves him and will gladly put up with his bullshit, I don't see Ed or Kenan being particularly tolerant.

Yeah, Kenan was my inside source, and I can't see Ed putting up with any crap that gets in the way of the club being a success.

I really really wanted to play Fall League, and even went so far as to inquire about carpooling, but as of this moment I am not. byroade has a class she wants to take every other Wed night and I've got a bunch of things to do around the house that didn't get done this summer. (Like a railing on the deck I built last fall!)
