We lost. Again. Once again we had a chance in game 1 against the team we lost to last week. In game 2 we were up against the league leaders. I think we could have beaten them if we'd made them play 3/1 (they only had one woman), but that wouldn't have been very spirited. but we finally got a win last night. Actually we got two. The league powers that be looked upon our pitiful 0-6, -36 and decided we needed another player. So they let us pickup one of the best players in the state. One who's played nationals. Recently. One could say we're fortunat [sic].

So today, while byroade was finishing up her jaunt with her Mommies' Union local in Ogunquit, I took the girls over to kriz1818's mom and dad's for the afternoon. OK, that was mildly embarassing. Not only was I not elected, I was 7th of 7 candidates with votes from less than 20% of those casting votes. My only hope is that I wasn't a spoiler for markasparov8.
