Hello, LJ! I haven't seen the new Teen Wolf ep yet since I'm watching tonight with aivilo_18. I'm super excited! I'm not involved with fandom because in general I find this fandom complains an awful lot about shit I just don't care about. (I only know this because of Tumblr links the wonderful deeablo sends, along with amazing Tumblr links of the cast being pretty

More power to you! I hope you continue to enjoy it. There are plenty of shows that I'm Mary Sunshine about but I tend not to post to LJ or tumblr about them, and also plenty of shows I like to critique and get meta-y about. I'm not sure I would call it hate-watching exactly. If I really don't like something, I won't watch it. But if I love a show - or even just parts of it - then I'll stick with it, even when it doesn't live up to the potential I think it could reach. In fact, it's usually the shows that I secretly love the most that I'm extra hard on it. Teen Wolf falls into the second category, though I actually try to avoid much of the fandom negativity myself. The fandom is craaaaazy. :D

No, I don't think you hate watch. And again, people are of course free to hate watch all they want! I just don't get it, since there's such little TV time and so many shows to watch.

The fandom negativity just seems intense. So much crazy! I'll be here with my glass half full. :)

I find I enjoy shows more if I stay out of the fandom for the most part. I'll chat about it with friends but most fandoms are just full of people griping and complaining.

And shipper wars. Ugh! Learned my lesson the hard way there in the QAF days. Avoid them like the plague. There is this on-going shipper war on Tumblr between Daryl/Beth and Daryl/Carol shippers for The Walking Dead. I'm like, "Um, yeah, I just came for the Daryl pictures so post those and quit your bitching, plz".

Oy vey, I can imagine the shipper wank going on with TWD. I actually like both the ships. It's nice to love a show like TWD and not be super invested. It's such much less draining, heh.

I swore I wouldn't ship anyone on TWD just because you know you're gonna get your ship crushed at some point when one or both of them becomes zombie food. Despite that vow, I do find myself leaning towards Daryl/Beth quite a bit. But totally passing on the shipper war, thx. Heh. (I kinda like the idea of Tyresse/Carol, too.)
