Hello, LJ! I haven't seen the new Teen Wolf ep yet since I'm watching tonight with aivilo_18. I'm super excited! I'm not involved with fandom because in general I find this fandom complains an awful lot about shit I just don't care about. (I only know this because of Tumblr links the wonderful deeablo sends, along with amazing Tumblr links of the cast being pretty and adorbs.) Yes, this show is sometimes really dumb, and Jeff does dumb shit, but whatever. I just want to enjoy it and be happy. I don't get the hate-on people seem to have for Malia. I think Shelley Hennig's great, and I love her so far. Also totally dig her with Stiles.
And yes, people are free to complain about whatever they want, but I just find the constant negativity so fucking tiresome. It's a downer, and there's enough downer shit in the real world, you know? (There's a reason the QAF haters called me "Mary Sunshine" back in the day. It was an insult, but you know what? I like sunshine!) I dunno. When a show stops being fun, I peace out. Why watch something you don't like most of the time? I guess I'm just not wired that way. Sure, we all get bugged by stuff, and I don't think Jeff Davis is perfect, but I also don't think he's the anti-Chirst. Because he made a show I love, and if he sucked that hard, I wouldn't watch his show. Hate watching baffles me. To each their own, of course, YMMV, etc., etc.
In related news, a dear FB friend watched the pilot and compared Allison to Lana Lang.
I legit gasped out loud. NO. NO, NO, NO. Allison Argent was no Lana Lang. Thank you, and good night.
