This and that

1. It really goes without saying at this point, but the ATWT honchos can go die in a fire anytime now. Expecting the worst, since they certainly have a proven track record in delivering in that regard.

2. Watched first four seasons of Entourage. S1 was okay, S2 was better, and S3 was where it really hooked me. I root so hard for all the boys, even ( Read more... )

So disappointed for Brian. I always had a feeling he's one of the nicest guys in the sport. I hope it helps greatly what he did help her to accomplish.

Just seems the way from the Asian countries - the skaters are dicated by someone else.

I'll have to check out the Russian pair. I'm so terribly biased, that I haven't paid too much attention to the Russian pairs since Sikharulidze and Berezhnaya. And I call myself a skating fan!

Trying to get over myself and get prepared for the most contrived horrifically poorly written ending of a grand love in all of film! Work in progress. :P

It's a shame all the way around with the Yu-Na/Brian sitch.

I really haven't liked a Russian team in AGES, so I have high hopes for this one!

Ugh, the end of ATWT. I just want it to be over at this point! Still trying to enjoy it in the meantime, but it's a challenge!

Oh wow, I didn't know that about Orser and Yu-Na! How disappointing.

Last season of SPN was a complete letdown, IMO. While I thought that they were building to the finale (and they were, for all intents and purposes), I enjoyed it and I thought they were going to stick a solid landing. But between the renewal, the meta, and the constant fake-out deaths, I'm disenchanted. I'm also hopeful for an enjoyable S6, but my emotional investment in these characters has dwindled to almost nothing. Sad.

It's become quite the dramarama with Brian and Yu-Na. He said, she said, her mother said. Needless to say, I'm Team Brian. Have never heard a bad word about him in all these years, and Yu-Na's mother seems totally nuts and money-hungry.

I hear you on SPN. The flashbacks really made me realize how much my investment has dwindled by reminding me of a time when I cared SO much about Sam and Dean. But now, one of them could die for real and I don't know how much it would impact me because they've cried wolf soooooo many times. I really hope S6 can return my emotional investment.

I had already forgotten how the season of Supernatural had ended. Good lord, this season sucked. I mean, there were a few really great episodes near the beginning when they were still planning to end the show and they were being all self-reflexive and meta and hilarious, but then they decided to draw this whole god-vs-devil thing out for another season and everything went down from there.

It's funny that you mention Jared's head (I LOLed), because as we were watching those flashbacks, Michelle, who had never seen the first two seasons, exclaimed about how the Cro-Mag (which is what we call him) used to be so cute!
