I totally cried at the end of Glee last night. Well played, Joss Whedon. I know he didn't write the episode, but I thought this was one of the strongest of the series and I've got to give him some credit for that. Also, how wonderful was it to hear NPH and Matt Morrison get to sing live and not have it autotuned and overproduced to within an inch

Strangely enough, I've heard from people who went to the Glee concert that Cory sounds way better live and un-autotuned?

He sounded a LOT better when he was singling live on Oprah than he does in the recordings.

You think? I'll have to rewatch, but I remember not being impressed. Granted, with me that poor boy has an uphill battle, heh.

No, I'm with you. I don't like Cory or Finn. But I don't understand why they mess up his voice to make it sound worse than it should when he's already the weakest voice on the show.

I loved Piano Man so much. I wish they'd released a full version of it.

The ending was lovely. I specially liked Quinn comforting Artie. It was a great touch.

I have to give "Glee" credit, that episode was... good!

This show is so wildly uneven, but last night was so solid. Let's hope there's more of this to come.

LOL, I think we both posted about that video the same weekend, so my name has been changed since then. I seriously love that video so much.

Yes, last night's episode was very good. Could we get MM/NPH and Idina/Lea duets every week? So much talent there. I also really liked Artie's Dream dance sequence, though, poor kid, he keeps getting stuck with all the masturbation songs, doesn't he? First it was "Dancing With Myself" and last night it was "Safety Dance." I wonder if the producers even realize they've done that to him.

I totally second that motion to have them back every week. Kevin McHale was really fantastic last night. But omg, I did not know "Safety Dance" was about masturbation! Now he just needs to do "She Bop" and the trifecta is complete.
