I don't talk about it often, but DAMN, Mad Men S2 was so good. I love, love, love this show. I really admire how patient the storytelling is, and that we'll get little nuggets of information over time, but not the full story until the writers are good and ready to give it to us. It's SUCH a welcome balm to the shows that are trying to give answers

Did you see Jon Hamm on SNL this week? He was a hoot and the real "Peggy" and "Roger" actors appeared for one of the skits.

I never watch SNL anymore except for on YouTube, but I did see the "Don Draper's Guide to Picking Up Women" skit, which was fabulous. I'll have to try and find the other skit with Elisabeth and John.

Also, it's snowing here, as it probably is there too, but this is our first one of the season. Supposed to get a foot of it overnight. Ack. Hello, winter.

With Lost, I find people get far too hung up on the why questions. They want to know *why* the smoke monster does what it does and how there's a smoke monster in the first place -- but that's irrelevant. The smoke monster just is, and *why* isn't the point. Why did the Log Lady carry a log? Because she did.

Though I must say, I find myself fantasizing about a time warp bringing Brian Kinney sweeping into Sterling Cooper... ;)

As for what you probably really meant, I don't know about that. Brian can step up when he needs to. And it would be fun to see him with a worthy opponent and/or partner in crime.

Hmm, I guess that does make sense. Has he said whether they're doing a time jump again? This is one of the only shows where I actually like the jumps.
