Lots of people have speculated that it might be the Brooklyn Bridge. I'm not sure how to feel about it. If they did end up in New York (or what was left of it), there's a part of me that's thinking it's cool. It's iconic, you know? But then there's another part of me that's annoyed because I get sick of seeing NY destroyed all the time.

I liked your point about the reaction to Sam and Chief. I'm hoping it's something they'll address in the second half of the season. I loved Kara's reaction though.

I think filmmakers like to use NYC for that very reason -- the landmarks are so iconic and recognizable in situations like this. It'll be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

Yes, I'd love to see a Lee/Sam scene in 4.5 for sure! I think you're right about the NYC and 9/11 parallels. Because you're smart, of course.
