So I was informed that the Hot Topic in Owings Mills is hiring. Initially, I was like "Yay! I can wear whatever the heck I want, finally get my snakebites and accomplish my "dye my hair every color of the electromagnetic spectrum " goal in no time, awesome!" but, then after a moment I remembered that the HT of today is not like the HT of 4 years

EWWWWWW, WTFISTHAT???!? I HATE...hatehatehatehatehate when girls take an elastic headband and put it around their head to plaster their bangs in front of their face. What the fuck is that? That's so weeeiiirrd, and so unattractive. Wahhhhhhhh.

I can't believe it, I loved Hot Topic because everybody hated it. It's like when Linkin Park turned from rap/rock to ...new pop or some shit. I've always gotten my cool jewelry there, and perhaps I will still stop in to peruse through the clearance rack, but...*is too disappointed to think of other witty words to put here*

Hot Topic has been disappointing me for years. There was only about a year of my goth/rocker girl days that I could fit into their clothes, but I always loved their accessories and stuff. I'll still go back around Nightmare Before Christmas time though, at least they haven't stopped that. I'm not a fan of the whole scene look either, all I can ever think is "Get your hair out of your eyes and put on some clothes that fit properly!!" Seriously, some people do that scene look that really need re-evaluate whether or not tight clothes are actually cute on them.

ugh I hate what has happened to Hot Topic then again what do you expect they are part of a huge corporation and they are only going to put out things that are going to sell. Apparently right now the whole scene thing is big and that is whats going to sell.

I actually like some of the kid stuff like the Disney shirts. I think two or three years ago they had the Beauty and The Beast 15th anniversary shirt that I really wanted to get but alas it was only online. They seem to always sell the things I really want online like the Ravenclaw crest shirt.

I can find a few things that I like from that store here and there but it is not how it use to be.

I hate what they do to Hello Kitty in that store. They have her in that disgusting superhero costume and the weird logofied Hello Kitty. This was really disturbing they had hello kitty all dressed up scene with the hair and everything.
