Just watched the first ep of Justified ( http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/justified/ ) on FX. Holy shit. Go watch. Really. It's like my perfect show. Why? Well, let's see. Violence, snappy dialogue, funny, heartfelt ( Read more... )

Isn't that just amazing show? I need another tv boyfriend like I need a dose of clap, but the sheer awesomeness of that show cannot be denied!

I have been waiting for a show that thrills me. This is it. It had me from the first five seconds. You know how many shows you give ten minutes and then you think, "oh, I'll just see if the rest of the episode maybe redeems it," but you know that it's not that great?

I currently am TV single, I have to say. This could be it. This could be The One.

I also thought it was great. I just hope they can keep up the quality because Leonard only wrote a short story about the character and nothing else. He just has a masterful ear for dialog.

Elmore Leonard's a genius. It doesn't always translate to small (or big) screen, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Yay! I'm not watching in real time, because I don't think I actually GET FX, but thank god for other means. Totally addicted after, like, the first three minutes. Brilliant.

I also have base thoughts about the way Timothy Olyphant MOVES, but I don't think that's really germane to my lavish critique.

There is something ultimately throat-catching about the way he moves. I can't decide if it's in his back, his hips, or just that... glide. I'm gonna haveta keep watching until I figure it out.

Like when he's walking away in the prison, that stiff-legged way that always cracked me up on Deadwood: Look out! Here comes Bullock and he means business. It's similar here, except sexier, if that's possible, because he's graceful as well.

I believe further study is required.

Oooh, yes. Yes yes yes.
Episode two was just on a couple nights ago, kicked *ass*.

I am enjoying immensely.

Hi!!!

I'm thrilled to be thrilled! As I said above *points* I don't actually get this FX channel, so I have to go looking for it. A2 lurves Elmore Leonard, so we can actually watch this one together! It's a date night at Casa Pink!

I really don't need to get sucked into a fandom, but how nutty could a Justified fandom be, anyway. Right. Right?

I was just recc'ing you to some newbie fic reader today.

Whoooooot!
I do get FX but sadly, most 'prime time' television schedules escape my brain, and i end up dl'ing to watch because i'm all 'oh! that was on last night!' Very sad.

Ummm.....is there a fandom already? *snerk*

Were you? That's awfully nice of you. I rec'd you a week ago to someone who was 'scared' to stumble onto 'bad fic', and so only read a couple of friends. Silly person - it's all about clicking the link you know will scar you for life, just to say you did!
:)

I am currently recovering from apocabigbang and wondering if i've got another bigbang in me. Rough drafts due in a month, my word count? 0.
*la*

Of course there's a fandom for Justified. It's two episodes in, silly.

Fanfic is all about finding that which will scar you for life. Otherwise, what on earth is the point, eh?

The hat. I'm undecided on the hat, carry over from being a west coast gal and something to do with Calgarians during Stampede season. Shh. It's still quite traumatic.

On the other hand. Big goofy hearts for this one.
