This is the first time I have seen a chiro where I live now. While in college, I saw a chiro and he was my favorite. It was like going to a spa every time I went for a visit. Oooo I wish I was closer to his office!

It's a shame that your chiropractor stops at 8 months. I had adjustments through my entire pregnancy about twice a week, then daily near the end to try and help get labor started, and during labor (my chiro is a friend of mine, and was part of my birth support team.)

I can always shop around for someone new. I started seeing this chiro because he's close to my house and I had heard good things.

Look for someone who is Webster Certified-Webster is a technique used to open the pelvis and make sure that babies have plenty of room to turn later in pregnancy when they need to go head down-it's done sometimes with babies who are breech, but we used it to just keep my pelvis open and give the baby plenty of room. Whether you need Webster or not (I found that it just made things more comfortable,) Webster certified chiropractors are used to working with and specially trained to deal with pregnant bodies and pregnancy.
