Week 15

I'm 15 weeks along, now! Things are going really well. I started having round ligament pain about a week ago - nothing too horrible, though. I also started to see a chiropractor for a non-pregnancy related issue, but he is helping me with the pregnancy related issues too! I have had problems with my lower back since high school, but pregnancy has really accentuated them. Thank goodness he does adjustments until you're 8 months along!

We met with the OB yesterday and finally got to hear the heartbeat! I was so nervous in the waiting room - my heart was racing! I never get nervous like that!
The heartbeat was in the "high 140's" which is cool.

We scheduled our next OB visit for Sept 26th. They wanted to do the anatomy scan the same day, but they let me push it off until October 3rd as my husband will be out of the country for work the week before.

I also had a Glucose Tolerance Test yesterday morning as well. As I was insulin resistant w/ PCOS before pregnancy, they said they wanted to keep a closer eye on this throughout the pregnancy which totally makes sense. Even though, it was a pain in the butt, I did it at the same time as 3 other pregnant women. It turned into a 3 hour pregnancy support group! haha At the end of the test, they were all very jealous that I pulled my granola bar out of my purse. I knew I would be starving!
