Sorry vamps

My little feline friend, aged 17, died last Monday after a brief illness. She had a seizure Thursday night and despite doctors and hospitals, she had a series of seizures and on Monday was paralyzed from the middle down. Oh honey, I'm so sorry. I can only imagine how hard this must be for you. But I'm glad you had such a wonderful and long relationship with such a wonderful creature, and that you were able to be there for her at the end.

I still see mine and it's been two years. She wasn't quite as old as yours, 15 and I also had to put her down. I derive some comfort in the idea that, after she was cremated, her ashes were buried in an aminal cemetery in Sonoma County, California wine country. Sorry for your lose. It was quick, though, and there must be some comfort in that.

Yes, we should be so kind to people. But we let them suffer endlessly. Sonoma is a lovely resting place, I intend to keep her here, in a little urn.
