It's true. Shit does flow better downhill then uphill. Same thing happened in my friend's backyard and they had to do the whole thing. Sad thing...her yard is directly across from my mother's who is having the same problem that you are.
In other news. I wish I were five again for two reasons. Adulthood is no fun as you have just said and I'm sick and I want my mom to take care of me.
