Summary: Many stories have one single starting point. Whether it is a “Once Upon a Time” or an “In a Land Far, Far Away”, it is still a solid starting point and is universally recognised as being the beginning of something. This story does not have a true beginning; after all, it is difficult for a story which spans over many, many years, including magical beings for which time is meaningless, to have a single beginning. It has many beginnings. For the purpose of beginnings, however, this story begins with a six year old boy and a young, fallen angel. It begins as all proper fairytales should; it begins with a wish, a shooting star and a boy who never stopped believing in the magic.
This is the fairytale of Jared Padalecki and his fallen angel.
And not all fairytales have happy endings.

I always knew that I end up writing loads for this, and that's partly because I have this bad habit of writing way too much for these sort of challenges; still, nonetheless, I think this was a pretty fun thing to write. Originally, the ending was going to be a lot different as to how it turned out, but I ran out of time and so I had to take an entirely different route; the originaly ending was going to be a whole lot more confusing, with various different switches between Misha and Castiel and, frankly, I'm glad I didn't do it. The ending I've chosen is much more poignant, in my opinion.
So, anyway.
Here you go. I hope you enjoy my precious little monster of a fic.
