This is from Biden's first presidential run back in 1998; he's standing with the rest of the Democratic candidate hopefuls at the time, at some kind of dinner event (the White House in the background is just some mock-up/replica).

I'm a little amazed at how, without the caption, I was able to name six of the seven gents (damn you, Bruce Babbit) and deciphered that it must be from the 1988 primaries.

I was 9 when this photo was taken. I think the extent of my awareness of politics at the time, and these seven in specific, was that Jesse Jackson had the same last name as Michael Jackson and Paul Simon sure looked different in the "Call Me Al" video.
