So, wonder of wonders, the University actually closed down to non-critical employees during yesterday's blizzard. (You laugh, but the Uni nearly never closes for snow. It is a running joke worthy of Pratchett.) This is this biggest snow event I can remember since the '96 blizzard. Which I found much cooler mostly because I was 11 and could play in ( Read more... )

Takes a bow. Guilty as charged, your Honor.

Thank you so much for playing! Your responses were fascinating and fun to read. Especially in regards to Hotch. I first noticed him because he fit's the archetype of the men I find attractive. (And no, he looks nothing like my father!) The more I watched, the more interested I was, mainly because of the layers that TG (and the writers) have managed to give him ( ... )

Hey, who knows, maybe Night Watch, which is next up on my DW reading list, will jumpstart the creative circuits again. (Vimes and Hotch and Death and Vimes and Hotch and Death. And round and round we go.)

MY NAME IS THE MASTER

(And it does snow in Australia. Sometimes and in some states. And not very heavily. We all get excited and the schools get closed and it is nothing like Northern Hemisphere levels of snow. Or cold. I think the coldest weather I've known pre US living was -9)

I'm jealous of your snow. We've only gotten an inch since I went back to school, and the snowbanks have all melted back to that point where they're covered in sand and weird-shaped and generally ugly.

Have fun watching Angel!(Edit: oops, that already happened. I need to start going on LJ more often.)
