He was very good at just going with things. It was one of his virtues.
I love this! :)

Lovely. I liked that Rodney was there when John got back to his room and then all the awkwardness of trying to figure out what they both want. Loved John being the brave one and pushing the issue just a little, wanting Rodney to stay, and I loved Rodney's voice in this - especially the dirt samples and the rain forest line.

Thank you! Loving your fiction as much as I do, it's really great to know that you liked this.

YOU FINISHEDED AND POSTEDED YAY. I love the paragraph three up from the end as it is love in it's stream-of-conscious rambly half-awakedness. And it's new, 'cos it wasn't in the version I read.

I added an ending! I discovered that most stories that don't suck have an actual ending.

And it's a good ending! You win at things. That have endings.

I'm writing a fic now and it won't end. It was supposed to be a 15 minute thing and it went all Energizer bunny on me. *loses*

Hah, I'm always the "let's go to sleep" or the "fade to black" type.

Damn, this was so lovely - especially the penultimate paragraph, with them sleeping clumsily and like people actually do, rather than the smushy sleeping of fantasy. And I would give quite a bit to see Rodney McKay wake up in stages with lots of blinking and eye-rubbing. D'aw!

Aww, thank you! I always figure that morning afters are a little bit awkward and "hey, there's someone else! Sleeping right next to me!", but that doesn't mean they can't still be a little bit romantic :)
