Went to the Land of The Dead launch party last night and had a pretty good time for a wednesday. Got there a bit late because I went a bit too far west (was at Vatikan) and then got "walked" there by some dude on methadone... so I definitely needed a drink or 3 by the time I arrived. Mostly hung out with my buds and gossiped while trying to ignore

Did they show the movie there? I may go to a launch on Thursday via rue-morgue, and they're showing the movie. I was wondering how the movie is, if it's worth seeing.

I've been busy evenings, so I haven't tried to get onto skype yet, but maybe this weekend I'll have a chance and look for you on there.

no - there are only a couple of small tvs at the club so they were showing the game trailer - It would have been cool for them to throw on the DVD in the background though instead of having the lame band ;)

I'm thinking about seeing the movie at a free screening on Thursday; if you'd like to go with me, let me know. I'm not a hundred percent sure I'm going, but I'm leaning towards it.

Fortunately, they don't seem to take themselves too seriously either, from what I've seen (not that they and I cross paths all that often). Are naive and Dan home from the hospital then? I should give them a call some afternoon to see how they are.
