Ruby in all of her infinite boredom had opted to use her free time to the best of her ability. She'd been out hunting, since it seemed that was the one thing she knew she could do here that didn't put her on some hit list for either Sam or Dean. Given the givens of the situation, she didn't really want anyone to be able to find fault with her in Chicago. Being a secret she could handle. She'd spent months being something that Sam wanted to avoid fighting with Dean about back home. Then she had shown up here, in Chicago, and it was back to square one ( ... )

He looks down the hall - in particular down towards Dean's room. He's going to tell his brother about Ruby soon, but right now is not the best time to have that Winchester fight.

There's a small amount of relief that comes from hearing that it's Sam. Stepping back from the door, she opens it, keeping her shirt in her hand for the moment.

With the door open, she moves across the room, tugging the shirt on over her head, pulling her hair out from inside the collar and retreats to her bedroom to try and find some socks, "I just got out of the shower, but if you want a beer or something - it's in the fridge."

"I um... I found something better already." He closes the door behind him, putting the unopened bottle of vodka down on the table. He watches her a moment as she walks, licking his lips before focusing his attention to her room.

"I'm sorry I haven't been around. I've actually been thinking about getting a job. Something to do around here. You doing alright?"
