It's a lazy Sunday afternoon. Clearly, the thing to do today is sprawl out with a book somewhere comfortable. That's what Harvey Dent's doing -- he's in the common room of the Conrad, stretched out on a couch. He's got a bit of a pile of books beside him. Some are law books that he unearthed somewhere, some are fiction, and some are comics --

She spies a familiar figure on one of the couches, and she moves over to say hello. The word doesn't quite leave her lips, however; as she rounds the couch to greet him, she sees Harvey's face is... not what it once was.
"I... whoa. Mr. Dent?"

"Oh, hey. It's Rachel, right?" Yeah, as if he'd forget that name. "Uh. ...Yeah. This is what I used to look like."

She perches on the coffee table in front of where he's seated. "I don't mean to get all up in your face--uh. I mean business. But... what happened? How did you--"
She doesn't want to say "get healed", because it's rude to imply he needed it before.
"Did someone help you?"

Harvey hesitates a minute, then, not sure if he wants to tell her what exactly went on. Probably better not to, really. "It happened a couple weeks ago," he continues, giving Rachel a small smile.

But he is taking some time to relax. With a book. In the common room. (He's even loosened his tie. This could be a sign the world is ending.)
"Ah ... Mr. Dent."
He hefts his book, lightly. It is nonfiction, and appears boring.
"Will I be disturbing you?"

Harvey raises an eyebrow and regards him cautiously, then shakes his head.
"All I'm doing is reading," he says neutrally. "You won't be a bother." Though he's going to be keeping an eye on you, Jon. Don't worry about that.

A smile crooks its way across his face, in fact, as he sinks down onto an adjacent chair-- not too nearby.
Not too nearby for comfort, anyway. It turns out that the title of Crane's book is, perhaps not surprisingly, In Cold Blood.

"How are you finding Chicago?" Harvey says after a minute, glancing at Jonathan over the top of his book. If Crane's going to sit there, may as well talk to him. It can't hurt, right?

It's one of those things that Isn't Done in her book. It's a little different here. No courtroom to be in, no case files to work on, no Mayor to harass. The options are a lot more limiting.
She's also planning on doing some reading, and once she spots him a smile lights up her face as she walks over to say hello. Her curiosity is piqued once she notices aside from law books there are comics. "Hi there."

The same is true for Harvey -- he never had time to be lazy, back in Gotham. There was always something to do. But here, he can't practice law, like he'd like to -- he knows Twoface would have something to say about that. It's hard to be unbiased and reasonable when you're not entirely sane.
"What've you got there?"

She sits in her favored armchair, shifting to a comfortable position. She hasn't slept much since the trial but that doesn't stop her from looking as motivated as she usually does.
"How've you been?"

"What about you? Keeping busy and all that?"
