The last time the Doctor was in the hotel, he almost got thrown through the Rift. But it's been a while, he's got things to do, and he's not particularly in the mood to be chased away by Romana Angelos. This is not a happy Doctor

The Doctor has been poking his head in random closets and rooms, looking for the Dalek... he hasn't had much luck finding it. That's annoying, and he really doesn't want to ask the other Doctor about it. In one of the rooms he pokes his head into is April.
April has... well, she's actually been pulled into her own head as much as possible lately. A little paranoid that something's going to set her off again, and so staying away as much as she can.
But the Doctor pokes his head in, and the wine cooler goes flying, left to pool on the carpet, while April pretty much throws herself at him. It's a good thing she's tiny, otherwise he'd be bowled over.
The Doctor, luckily, is used to tiny people throwing themselves at him at great velocity, and so he wraps his arms around her with a grin, lifting her off her feet. "April! Hello!" Yes, he's more or less stopped protesting the "captain" thing. Mostly because it's easier than arguing with her.
Malek is looking for an Anya. He's not finding one. This is a shame, because he's got one of those new BIG tubs of Häagen-Dazs coffee ice cream and a collection of spoons. (Always carry a collection of spoons. It makes it a lot easier to invite any new friends to join you.) At this point Malek and ice cream are pretty much constant companions - hey, when you've got something that works....
He notes the new kid (everyone's a kid to Malek, unless they happen to be his boss) and heads over, because he has the feeling that this is Jack's kid, and hell, he likes Jack's kids. Ones he's met, anyway. The fact that she's sitting there looking unhappy with both her arms in slings just means they have something to commiserate about.
He hobbles over - he's still got a crutch under his arm, and the bullet wounds haven't yet healed - and plops down beside her, offering her a spoon laden with dessert.
There are many strange things Tosh is prepared to deal with. She's been with Torchwood for years now, after all. Someone who looks like the Doctor - the way the Doctor used to look, that is, when she first met him - limping toward her with a crutch under one arm and ice cream in hand... that's a little more than she's really sure how to deal with.
For a moment, she just stares at him, unthinkingly tilting her chin down a little like she's looking over the tops of glasses, though she's not wearing them right now. Tosh eyes the ice cream spoon, and then Malek. His accent is very, very wrong for the Doctor - either the one he looks like, or the one she knows now. And all she really wanted was to be outside for a little while and be left alone...
"No thank you," she says quietly, still eying him like she's trying to decide what to make of him.
"Sure?" He waves the spoon at her, giving her one more chance. C'mon, it's ice cream. That tastes like coffee. Humans are all sorts of weird when it comes to not doing things they really should want to do, but... ice cream! "'s good."
He takes a bite as if by way of demonstrating this.
Then he leans back, locating the nearest tree and nestling up against it. "Kinda a raw deal, all injured on such a nice day. I kinda want t'go all big'n'scaly so's it don't bother me s'much. But El, I think, doesn't so much want us running around t'grounds with our monsters out." He grins in her general direction, waves at her arms. "That 'urt?"
Big and scaly. Which means he's either a behemoth or a shapeshifter, and given that they're in the Main Gauche - and, well, just about everything about the man - more likely a demon. Tosh isn't sure exactly how she feels about that. At least if a behemoth or a shapeshifter, he's not going to be doing anything to her mind or emotions.
The question earns him a somewhat testy look. "Both my shoulders were dislocated. Of course it hurts."

She doesn't often actually drink outside of maybe one fruity drink at a party, but she figures if anyone has a right, now, she does.
The Doctor is more than welcome to find her and ascertain that she's alright.
