The last time the Doctor was in the hotel, he almost got thrown through the Rift. But it's been a while, he's got things to do, and he's not particularly in the mood to be chased away by Romana Angelos. This is not a happy Doctor.
He needs to see April. Check up on Ves, hopefully without feeling the need to toss a certain spider-bot out of the nearest window. But first, he thinks, he should probably find that Dalek and make sure it's harmless. He'd thought it was the first time, after all... One of these days, the Doctor has to learn that unexpected Daleks should always be expected. No matter how harmless or dead he thought they were.
Downstairs, there's Martin, lounging in a chair in the common room and playing cat's cradle. Or maybe just winding a string between his fingers - it's tough to say. He looks just a little dazed and out of it - don't ask why, because he's not entirely pleased about that. It's just that Georgia is pushy and it's hard to say no to her. Also, she can beat him up.
Over at the Kashtta, Gwen is in the computer room, flicking through CCTV and getting progressively more and more annoyed. Either her entire team decided to go mad at the same time, or there's something both the CCTV and she completely missed. Neither of those are encouraging thoughts. She's starting to think she preferred the aliens back home. At least they made sense. Relatively speaking.
Grace, in no great hurry to leave Des alone any time in the next century, spent the night on the couch at his house. She's in the kitchen now, making macaroni and wondering if there's a reason the microwave is sitting half-disassembled on the counter. Then again, it's Des' house. She probably shouldn't question these things.
At the Main Gauche, Buffy is in her room with the door open - given that her room seems to be the place most of the non-demon kids (mostly meaning her, Tay, Billy and Andrew) at the Main Gauche tend to congregate, and she's bored, she doesn't mind. They've even procured a small TV, though it may be best not to ask how. Point is, open door. Slayer. 10 Things I Hate About You. Go on and say hi.
And there's Toshiko sitting in the garden, huddled into herself and not looking particularly sociable. She really didn't want to risk running into anyone, but sitting inside just made her feel claustrophobic, and in the end, claustrophobia won. Anyone with psychic or empathic abilities will be getting a nasty tangle of emotions from her, confusion and anger and hurt and... Mary was easy compared to this. At least Mary had the good grace to hold a knife to her throat and make it clear where things stood.
