The following are sitting in the Rani's appropriated lab at Sydney Jasper: the Rani, who's designing, nucleotide by nucleotide, a contagious universal cure to the plague; Captain Jack Harkness, who's looking exceedingly uncomfortable and has a Time Lord sensor attached to his chest; and Elashte, who's back to walking with a cane and keeps casting wary glances at the door as he works with a countertop full of titres and tries unsuccessfully to carry on a medical dialogue with one or both other people in the room.
