It is apparently a day for certain pups to be active. A mun rejoices. Or something.
Desmond Descant is back from the hospital. He's been scarce since Becky's Fall, which means, of course, that he's missed some things that he would have been better off being here for, but, well, that's what he gets for being a good friend. Mostly, he's been in and

He steps through the doorway and sees Des, and doesn't hesitate a second before pivoting on his heel and walking right back out. He's not getting in a fight with another of them, and he has a feeling he will if they actually talk. So obviously, the thing to do is avoid Des as well. Yes, Doctor, brilliant plan.

"What did you do?" He demands.
He probably wants to get into a fight less than the Doctor does... No, wait. This is Des we're talking about. Fights with other men, especially men he likes, is how you know he's in a healthy relationship. So apparently he doesn't mind the fighting, providing that whatever it is they start fighting about doesn't completely destroy them forever. Or something like that.

Not that Des' greeting really gives him any reason not to glare.
"I didn't do anything!"

It's not that Des doesn't believe that Martha's incapable of starting a fight on her own, it's just that he's never known her to be the one to do it, and for all he knows, it could be a mixture of both parties, but as it's easier for him to yell at men than it is women, he'll stick to blaming the Doctor.

Aiden very much wants to make sure Juliet's alright, as he hasn't seen her in awhile. So he ambushes her in her corner, grinning in his usual manner.
"Long time no see," He greets her, cheerfully.

She makes a somewhat futile attempt to give him a smile right back, but even she's aware of how flat it looks. She used to be good at this whole 'faking convincing smiles' thing, but that was before she came here and things started getting bad and every tap in her room decided to respond to her suppressed emotions. Really now.

It usually happens when she's around angels, or more accurately it usually happens around either Guardian angels or Archangels.
As such she's heard of Vincent, she's also done business with some of his casual associates.
The unfortunate thing about Aria is that when she hears about somebody or something extremely important she tends to idolise them a little... which can eventually grow to basically finding a alter and building a medium sized religion around them.
As such... Hello Vincent, have one Vengeance angel leaning on the door-frame and trying very hard not to look like she's staring at you.

He turns to look in the direction he thinks he feels eyes boring into coming from and smiles in that... Oddly unsettling way he has. He can't help that. He just has one of those faces that makes smiling kind of scary.
"Did you need something?" He asks congenially, kinda thankful for the distraction. He pauses for a second, tapping a finger on the coffee table for a moment as he thinks. "It's, uh... Aria? Right?"
Vincent knows everyone. It is both cool and kinda frightening.

So she's blushing, blushing and looking at her hands, blushing and looking at her hands and refusing the urge to let her wings out which is what she always does when she's nervous.
She blames it on her father.
"Yeah I'm Aria, Aria Blake, vengeance angel" she pauses, almost wondering how to put into words I practically worship you and am nearly having a heart attack now that I'm meeting you "Can I help with anything?"
Aria does have some tact after all, it's hidden away in a deep chamber but it surfaces occasionally.
If this is what she's like meeting Vincent... well, her meeting with Romana should result in several hospital trips.

He has a feeling, given the way she's looking at him that she knows who he is and the introduction wasn't really required, but, well, that's Vincent for you.
He looks down at his paperwork, gives it a rather disgusted look, and then shakes his head. "Nah, not at the moment. Romana's got me makin' lists of all the new arrivals here since she's been gone and I've got reports on demon activity since Calisto's death to figure up. You know, boring stuff."
This? This is why he has Mitsuki, but Mitsuki would brain him if she waltzed into the hotel and had to do his paperwork when she has weapons to peddle and defenses to organize, and she's always testy when she's outside her comfort zone in Tokyo.

But he's managed some time away, and was on his way down to the music room (violin case tucked under one arm). And when he passes through the common area, he recognizes the woman immediately.
"Juliette!" He still hasn't managed to lose the accent on her name, but he approaches her with a smile, even though she doesn't quite look as bright.
"It has been a while, oui?" Maybe he can try and cheer her up a little bit?

"Paul!" She says, brightening a little that doesn't make her smile seem so tight or her eyes seem so hollow. "It has been awhile. I haven't seen you around."
There's a general feeling placed at the end of that that seems to suggest she probably has an idea why. Life's been crazy for everyone these past few weeks, so it's understandable that some people need more time to deal with these things than others.

He nods and speaks up again, "Have you been well?" As well enough as she could be, anyway? "And when did you learn that?"
There's a vague pointing to the water, but great interest in his eyes. He's seen a wide variety of interesting things in this place, so it's not completely shocking. "C'est belle."
He's always though water had some sort of powerful beauty to it, though, no matter the amount.

Not that most things that come through the medical room are all that hard to deal with.
And, obviously, there's more to it than that, but how do you explain that you know for a fact that two people close to you are going to die and you're not sure if you can help one of them and you know you can't the other?
She looks at the bowl and wrinkles her nose. "Product of coming through the Rift. I'm a Water Elemental now, apparently. Fitting, I guess. I don't think I've lived anywhere that wasn't near the water my whole life."
