Darkness on the edge, shadows where I stand...

It is apparently a day for certain pups to be active. A mun rejoices. Or something.

Desmond Descant is back from the hospital. He's been scarce since Becky's Fall, which means, of course, that he's missed some things that he would have been better off being here for, but, well, that's what he gets for being a good friend. Mostly, he's been in and out of the hospital, making sure Becky's recovering nicely and occasionally being flailed at by Annie for refusing to leave until he was absolutely sure everything was going to be okay.

Now he's in the common room with his journal in his lap (which he keeps obsessively checking), worrying about Martha out there and what's been going on since he left.

Juliet Burke has stopped sulking in her room (mostly because it's slightly damp in there- although thankfully water damage was minimal) and is also in the common room, sitting in a chair in a far corner of the room with another bowl of water on an end table in front of her, her chin resting on her elbow which is propped up on an armrest,  her free hand manipulating the water in the bowl with vague gestures as if her heart is not entirely in the movements and she's merely doing in unconsciously.

Vincent Sterling has paperwork to do for Romana which he's just now getting around to, because he's been mildly distracted... And also he might have been putting it off, because Archangels generally don't do paperwork. He's got a seat in a far corner of the common room with various papers scattered on  a table in front of him, which he's going through with all the agony of someone walking barefoot across broken glass.

The good news is, he just got a call from Mitsuki who intends to come to Chicago briefly to update the Conrad's defenses and check in with everything. Well, anything for the war effort is bound to make Romana happy and he really needs to do something to make her happy and soon. Yes, because Mitsuki existing is something that he can be praised for. Really now.

And then there's Julian Sark, who is not actually in the common room, although if he knew what was good for him, he wouldn't be out of his room, but considering he does, in fact, have to eat sometime, staying locked up is probably not the best of ideas. He's actually in the basement lobby, having covertly avoided most of the basement residents through the powers of invisibility (which would be a lovely ability if he could ever figure out how to make it stick for as long as he wants) and is now waiting for the elevator, clearly visible because the power konked out on him and he's going to need it once he gets upstairs. (Really, his life would be so much easier if he wasn't too much of a snob to eat in the cafeteria like a normal person.)
