I love it - and I think it fits well with Moffat's season so far...

Thank you! I really like the whole fairytale thing he has going, as old fairytales are some of my favourite stories.

It's intriguing, especially since Amy's fey enough to be of the Faerie herself!

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! What if she's a CHANGELING?!

Nah, Moffat wouldn't go there, would he?

Oooh, I would love that! She is all fairytale-like, and there's the additional stuff about her parents being gone(/lost/dead?) and all of that. She does have the right sort of murky past, doesn't she?

I don't think Moffat would do it, though. Non-human companions seem to have fallen out of fashion. :(

N'awww, thank you! ♥

Haha, well, I was reading it in Sylvester McCoy's voice, I think, so. XD

ILU too. :D

I just went and reread it with Matt Smith's voice in my head, and you're right, that totally works too. XD

(I'm going to read your fic now, btw.)

!!!!

This is really, really good.

I can't see any parts of it that I would change. It's not how I would've written it, of course (since Expy or not I'm not you), but there are no language mistakes, few or no awkward turns of phrase. I thought it was a really good, really interesting read and a take on the Doctor that, as persiflage_1 said, fits in quite well and quite interestingly with Moffat's tenure so far.

So, yeah. I think it's ready for primetime, pretty much. :D

Thank you! :) I was worried that it was too meta to really be a fic, but apparently that is not the case.

You should see some of the 'fiction' that I've written if you think this was too meta. Would you like to? I've been looking for an excuse to post it.

Very smooth of you. :P But yes, if you post it I will most likely read it and leave a comment.

I really enjoyed this - thanks for writing and posting. I particularly like the "storyteller" voice and think you've captured the essence of the Doctor very well.

edited to include right icon!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. :) Some people have suggested that it can be read with the Doctor's voice as narrator, and although that's not what I originally intended, I reread it myself and found that it also works that way. Funny how a story you write can surprise you like that - which, I suppose, was part of the point of the fic in the first place. :)
