newsflash : i am an *asshole*. the latest round of trek_exchange, the one i exhorted everyone to sign up for, the one i was so excited about writing? was due yesterday. aaaaaaand guess who didn't even start it yet. FFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK. i asked for an extension, but dear god, i feel like a dick. *facepalms forever

I posted and then they put up the extension. SUCKS. I last-minute ground out that fic and it was just lucky for me that my beta reader exists on an opposite schedule to me. I abuse that too often, haha.

I watched the BBC Pride & Prejudice tonight with my friend (we started at 10pm! We're retarded) and started thinking about the Trek Regency AU I've been threatening about. Because I don't have three long WIPs on the go already, and two of them being posted as I write. No sir.

this is true-- still don't know if i'll have it done by then either, but i suppose i can get a good start on it this weekend. one good thing about all the writing i've been doing is i know how to just pound out words even if they suck, and come back and edit later. :3

XD pride and prej does bad things to me-- i read one of the yuletide submissions for pride & prejudice & zombies today and desperately wanted to write fic in that fandom and add in characters from like eight other fandoms. siiiiiigh. my "i want to write this" list is truly neverending.
