Pastel Nightmare
This week at school the assignment for our design & colour class required us to design a collection using only pastel colours. After I finished vomiting at this news I sketched some gothic lolita inspired designs and then forced myself to smother the drawings with candy sweet easter colours. Yesterday was a remarkably slow day at work so I spent almost the entire six hour shift alone in the store sketching behind the counter. It was kind of nice actually, as it has been a while since I spent that much time with only a pencil and my sketchbook to entertain me. RIP Lux Interior
I just found out that Lux Interior died this morning at 63 years old, apparently of a pre-existing heart condition. Both Hanna and myself are really huge fans of The Cramps and it is tough news to hear. I am really struck with sadness thinking that I have never had the opportunity to see the Cramps live.
