Pastel Nightmare

This week at school the assignment for our design & colour class required us to design a collection using only pastel colours. After I finished vomiting at this news I sketched some gothic lolita inspired designs and then forced myself to smother the drawings with candy sweet easter colours. I like some of these designs but I am dissatisfied with my illustration work. It has been a long time since I worked with watercolour paint so the process was a bit of a battle. There are some pretty monumental fuck-ups on my behalf, so I guess I would say the watercolour paint won this round. I'm not bitter about that though, not at all. It is only motivation to improve. I will defeat you watercolour paint, just wait.



PS. The eye patches are intended to compensate for the lack of baditude inherent in the pastel colour scheme.
