So, I've been actually living in Montreal (as opposed to just staying there in a hostel) for nearly a week now! It will be a week tomorrow

Wow...looks like a really big city centre. (well, compared to brisbane...) good to hear you're having fun :D

Actually, Montreal isn't really that much bigger than Brisbane. The city centre looks it, but the buildings are actually shorter than Brisbane's, so there are more of them. There's a cross on top of the mountain, and apparently the buildings aren't allowed to be taller than the top of the cross.

I think Montreal has about... 1.85 million people, from memory. I believe that's bigger than Brisbane, but rather smaller than greater Brisbane (include Ipswich and the Gold Coast and such). Something like that.

And I am having fun :)
