Polls are an idea well worth the stealing! There should be more of them. If I was, in fact, the source of your inspiration to venture in to pollitude, then I shall exude smugness. If not, hell, I might just claim spurious credit because why not.

Hee! Don't be scared. Fic Rush is not a new set of prompts or challenges or anything you sign up for. It's a writers' support group.

Once a month, we have a designated weekend where you're encouraged to give yourself as much time as you can set aside, and focus on writing (or other creative stuff), with a community to support you as we all do the same. You can drop in at any time during the weekend and exchange mutual cheers and encouragement.

There's no signups, no minimum wordcount, no nothin - just show up when you can. It's a very cracky group, with a tendency towards weird running jokes (ninja penguins and bonsai giraffes for starters). It's multifandom, with a lot of DW (the original founding group was all Whovian).

Just discovered this in my "unsorted" bookmarks. Oh, yeah, my browser was updated that weekend! Took me a while to figure stuff out...

Anywho, the poll was tied, but my vote changed that. So if you haven't already started the next section, YOU SHALL DO AS I SAY. ;-)
