Sorry, but this is going to be short. We have storms moving in and I've been achy all day. Partly that's because I forgot to take my meds this morning - our 14 year old cat was failing, and we had to help her cross the bridge, which made the morning routine all wonky ( Read more... )

So sorry to hear about your cat. I know that you had a couple of older animals but losing two so close together is really tough. *hugs*

Different topic: who do we know fannishly in the Rochester/Buffalo area that I (alone) could stop on Thursday night on the way to your wedding? 13-14 hours straight through twice in three days is not doable by me alone.

Well, my nephew is around there, but not sure he's allowed overnight visitors in his dorm room!

Actually, we were thinking you should get in touch with the folks (mewsrissicat, etc) here and see about car pooling, maybe? Not sure when/how they are planning on traveling. Same for hotel stay up there.

I'm so sorry the rest of the family won't be coming. But absolutely delighted that you will be.
