today, i'm applying for a job i've been doing for the last six months. nothing like a resume to make you feel simultaneously adept and diffident. i can't help the feeling that at any moment, they're going to pull the proverbial rug out from under me. i just want to put down some roots. six months of a transitional life can really wear you out.

the newsroom is creepy at 2:45 a.m.

someday i am going to break a tooth by clenching to hard as a result of technology that does not work like it's supposed to, which causes me to stay under awful florescent lights in a totally empty newsroom for longer than necessary.

that, or cry on my keyboard.

to wear my favorite jeans again.

a real bed.

a new place to live.

a shower that drains properly.

a someone.

the spiders outside of my door to just leave me alone.

to know where i'm going to be a year, 6 months, one month from now.

to be able to go to more haunted houses instead of working.
