I'm having a small Christmas party at my apartment tonight, and i'm hoping that by telling you, i will feel obligated (and remember) to take pictures and post them online.  (Actually, picasa has made my picture-posting life so easy, that i think i will be much better about keeping more up-to-date with online photo posting.  Aren't you lucky?)

Funny you mention it, the picasa link in the beginning of the post has a bunch of different pictures, and there are certainly kittens among them. The grey one is Ali, and the brown tabby is Satchel. I do need to work harder to get better photo representations of them, especially of Ali. She's a sweet, pretty kitty, but sadly, not very photogenic.

Kitties! They are very cute and sleek-- um, they actually remind me of otters. :P But otters are like my favorite animal, so that's a compliment!

Channukah (sp?) was nice. I worked. But is there anything more traditionally Jewish than making money? :D

Yeah, i don't know if there really is a "right" spelling. But the C seems to be on there whenever i see it written by someone who is actually Jewish, so i'm at least sticking with that.

Satchel is fairly otter-like, it's true; i'd never really thought of it before, but i agree. Especially when he lies on his back with his paws kind of curled up, and he is fond of lying that way.

1. Yesterday was pretty crappy, but when I was driving to my hair appt, I felt how crappy my face looked with a frowny face. So I started smiling, which made me happy, and then I started laughing at how ridiculous I was being, and that just improved my mood times 10, so there you go, smiling is my favorite too.

2. I am bringing my cookies to brooklyn, I will bring recipes too.

3. I love bendy straws, they are definitely my favorite, too.

4. Have you met Heather/Schmitty yet? I'm taking care of her cat, Tobey, and he still looks like a kitten even though he is a 15 pound full grown fatass.

1. I did not have any clue why you were writing this at first (not that i wasn't enjoying the story). I figured it out by the end. :)

2. Yummy! Want to know the funny thing about the cookies i'm making? I got the recipe from 6th grade home-ec class. They're good though!

4. I have met her, but only briefly. Fatty-cat sounds cute! You'll like grown-up Satchel. He's excited to meet you again after all this time. Also, he aspires to be a fatty, so he'll love stories about Tobey.
