Del, you are a bad, bad woman.
See, now Patrick Wilson!Dan and Torchwood!Rhys are inextricably linked in my head.
And I want fic. Of which there won't be any, because very few people will have written Torchwood/Watchmen crossovers, and they sure as hell won't have written that. But they should.

Archie hung silent and still over the docks. Jack inclined his head. "A little ostentatious, Dan." He addressed his remark to the cowled figure, but his smile to the tall and beautiful woman balancing with unprecedented ease in massive heels upon the uneven quay.
"You, er," Rhys said, nodding, a cup of violently orange cuppasoup clutched in both hands, steaming in the cold autumn air, "might want to say something before Jack gets his charm on."

"I think it may be a little late," Gwen snorted, nudging him in the side. Night-vision goggles only amplified the tightness of Rhy's smile, but Dan pretended not to see the tension there. He had other problems to think about.
"I don't know how confidently I can predict another Rift storm of this magnitude," Jack added. "You're going to have to move that, since you're staying."
Not "if you're going to be staying", Dan noted. And yet Jack had been precisely this kind of cocky and slightly irritating when he'd washed up out of the Hudson three years ago, back in ... his own ... universe.
"And maybe a change of clothes?" Gwen suggested sweetly.
Laurie almost sagged on the spot. "That would be *really* kind, thanks."

"Where the hell's it going to go, though?" Rhys wanted to know. "There's nowhere around here that'll do the job." He took an unwise sip of the cuppasoup and winced slightly as it burnt his tongue. "Have you lot got a basement or something that big?"
Jack shook his head. "I'm hoping Ianto'll have some ideas." He looked away from Laurie long enough to glance at Dan. "I guess a cloaking device would be too much to ask?"
"I'm not a super-genius, Jack," Dan retorted. He'd already had to bite back an urge to tell him that the ship was Archie, not a 'that'. "And I didn't exactly have access to alien technology when I was building him."
Gwen, meanwhile, was eyeing the other woman with unrepentant consideration. Laurie didn't seem to mind, but Rhys's expression tightened just a little more in response. "I think I might have some stuff in the Hub that'll fit you," she said.Er. Do I get out of joining in further (I suck) if I draw stuff to ( ... )
