[If Scotty was telling the truth, this isn't her Captain, but the sound of his voice still makes her instantly wary. Kirk's a dangerous man... Though asking if she's all right is definitely out of character for the Kirk she knows.]

I'm... not sure. I'm pretty disoriented.

Just over a month. Some of the others have been here over a year.

What was happening just before you arrived? This place isn't limited by either space or time when it brings people here. [also, you know, Jim's trying to figure out which Uhura you are.]

[Uhura's still very wary, but he certainly doesn't sound like the ISS Captain Kirk. He's far too solicitous for that; her own Captain would probably be berating her for getting lost. But even if he's not her Kirk, she still has no reason to trust him.]

I was beaming from the Enterprise to a settlement on Arleos IV, but I ended up here instead.

Are we clear? [His tone is light, but Jim's dead serious about this. He doesn't know enough about the ISS yet to know whether they'd try something.]

What exactly are you worried I'll do to them? [She's intentionally not responding to his question; he's not her Captain, and as far as she's concerned there's no reason she should have to answer to him.]
