Smooch BO - Terrible CS!!!

Posted this about 2 weeks back and now there are updates and I think everyone involved in this backorder should know what's going on or rather, wonder if Smooch even knows what's going on themselves.

s anyone waiting for Smooch's BO for Camilla & Belle Dress to arrive?? It was slated to arrive by mid April and now it's May, close to mid May.

Wow that's good. At least they're refunding you your money. The fuss that I made over my Lexis Dress (which I ordered in Dec 2012 and has NOT arrived yet) probably not big a fuss enough! A few days ago they sent me an email saying they're mailing the dress to me as it's in stock now. I'm going to give them one week more. If I still don't get my dress, I'm going to really get mad.

You should! They're really terrible with the lack of CS and all they do is go MIA till you make a big fuss. I have no idea what Sarah is doing or the way she's running Smooch cos it doesn't seem like what it was like before. Oh, I gave them a thorough lashing and now I'm waiting to see if they will really refund me promptly. If they cannot even organise their physical stocks properly, I wonder how they are able to settle their finance side! That was the last time I will ever purchase from Smooch.

I hope you get your dress though! After so much hooha, I bet the anticipation and like for the dress has waned. :(

Oh my.. Seems like they're really irresponsible and it's not just a handful that got affected. Yeah I told them I don't see myself purchasing from them any time soon hence my request for a refund. Hope you get your items! And tagged!! thanks :)

I had purchased their trapeze studded bag on BO end of last year as it's website had stated a 4-5weeks wait. Feeling excited that I may be able to use it for cny, I waited patiently, and waited till I totally forgot about the order. I only received the bag in April 2013, and throughout this whole period, no emails were sent to inform of the delay.. I emailed them late March to enquire if they had missed my order only to know that they were still waiting for stocks from suppliers due to the CNY festive break. My take is, if that's the case don't overpromise estimated dates as some might be wanting the outfits for events or certain pieces get outta fashion easily.. Oh wells, lucky my bag didn't disappoint :) hope your dress comes soon!

I almost joined that BO! I find that they'd very irresponsible, not even having the decency to notify. Atleast if they did inform us about the delay, we wouldn't feel so pissed off. I'm not getting the dress anymore! I asked for a refund and I'm waiting for it to be in next week.

My previous experience on the backorder was also unpleasant.
Giving them benefit of doubt I placed a new order with smooch on 13May for a dress that is in stock and until now, received nothing at all from them. Not even an email to advise me of the delay! disappointing!

wow! It really is consistent irresponsible service provided by Smooch! OMG. I hope you get your item and maybe next time we shld all think thrice before purchasing

Oh man, I just read about this :(
My Smooch instock items usually arrive pretty promptly, occasionally after 1 week but I'm ok with it.

After reading about this, I'm a little apprehensive now 'cos I've just joined one of the few recent backorders for 3 items :( I hope it really arrives within 4-5 weeks.

I do agree that if it drags for too long, they should hold it up and cancel the backorder. I've joined HVV backorders before and they sucked it up and provided refunds for those who are unwilling to wait. I think Smooch should do something too, else their loyalty base might be affected.
