Hey babe, I feel you, however I guess that's online shopping. I did buy from other online store like f21.com omg, it was worst, measurements aside, the material or I would say the product was totally off.
In the case of Lilypirates and other online store, I think we should give them the onus of benefit of doubt I guess?
F21 or even ASOS tends to have more hits or misses.
I guess I had too high expectations of LP from the good reviews on their customer service. I was expecting them to have more flexibility as some other small shops I purchased from before.
Hey I experienced this with Lilypirates recently too. Bought the Urban Polish Dress. I'm usually a 16" PTP and 14" waist so when I saw the measurements for M, I thought it would be perfect. But the dress was obviously too large for me. And Lilypirates will not entertain any exchanges to other items (cos all the S sizes were sold out) or store credits. Like you, it'll be the first and last time I buy from them. Quite sad cos I really did like the dress.
From the way you girls mention about this, I guess it is really time to boycott them. Always like Aforarcade,Lollyrouge,MGP's customer service more. All of them are friendly and nice.
Ya man! Did you also experience anything bad with them?
Honestly, their prices are not very cheap. Like comparing the same items, Intoxiquette and Fairbelle price lower.
Lollyrouge and also SMooch have nicely put together collections but their prices tend to be higher for the same items than other BS and these items can also be found on tb.
Well I encountered inaccurate measurements for intoxiquette as well! I bought a dress from them recently and the hips measurement was smaller by 1.5". Sent it back for exchange yet the replacement dress I received was exactly the same measurements too! I emailed them and requested them to verify the measurement yet they replied they so not have any more stocks to check against (seriously I have my doubts abt the size being OOS, else it's high chance that they sent me the same dress that I returned). Sigh I think that's the downside that we have to face when we shop online:(
I actually haven't bought much from Intoxiquette, just once or twice and so far so good. To me, at least their prices are much more reasonable, like generally <30.
Hi! I previously bought from lilypirates and a few other blogshops (thetinselrack, ellysage, earlgreyparty and many others).
When i send in a photo of me measuring the piece and comparing it to the measurements, and saying that I would really appreciate an exchange for sizing, they were alright with it as long as I bear the cost of postage there and back! So hope that helps? Perhaps sound like you really really love the skirt and would appreciate if they could kindly assist you in this? As long as its not sold out they're usually alright with it!
Cause I tried this with a number of blogshops as I always face this problems with bottoms and the sizing doesn't fit, and they do allow exchanges. But I'm not sure if its because I buy like 3-5 pieces at one go usually and I'm a regular at most of their stores!

Clearly, the inaccuracy with their measurements are not isolated cases.
Too bad for them that that will be the one and only occasion they got to make my money.
I rather purchase from other shops like intoxiquette or fairbelle whose price more resonablly for the same item.
