Harvey was working hard, or as hard as he truly worked we should say. He had just closed another case, which is what he's good at. He was contemplating what to do that night. He could go out for a drink, see what happened. Or maybe call up Marin and see what she was up to. They'd spent quite a bit of time together lately and he didn't even know

That was when Marin strode into his office, unannounced, as usual dressed up far outclassing anyone around her. He would know that she had no other reason to be there. Yet if he asked she'd just say she happened to be nearby.

"Once again I have marvelous timing," she said with an easy smile.

He glanced up hearing guys talking about the nice bodied woman coming in. That's when he saw Marin and his under the radar jealously come into play. "Might want to put the guns away."

"Oh, you mean these?" She laughed at that, but she appeased him by putting her jacket back on, so that her breasts were fairly covered. Not that she was paying any mind to any of the other guys in the building anyway, but that was her feelings coming into play.

"I just wanted to let you know that I took the job here. I start on Monday," she told him. Setting her brand-new business card down on his desk. "So you know where to find me." If he called her on it, she might admit that she had largely chosen to stay because of him.

He was satisfied when she put the jacket on covering up what was meant for him to see. Something he'd never say. He'd just say it was so the younger associates could work without the distraction. "Congratulations. Couldn't leave me could you?"
