Minsc, unfortunately, was very much lacking in any sort of tact. There was, however, probably the benefit that he actually made it sound like a good thing when he said, "Hey, there, big guy!"

Fred blinked a few times. Yeah, he could pick a fight. But... it kinda seemed like the guy was one of those high-functioning retards. At least, that's how Fred put it in his head.
