mso-ansi-language:EN-US">My friend inspired me to make this entry. It’s actually supposed to evolve into a series of entries…. Such a little “project” of mine….eye - candies… But yes, my friend inspired me - we were talking about Tom Cruise and she said: “I've always liked Tom Cruise as an actor too. But as a person, I doubt that. You see, the two ( Read more... )

Did you see Collateral? I really love this movie. He played an assassin.

Yes! Vincent.....mmmmmm.... I didn't really like the wig he was wearing in that film but the film was very good. And Jamie Foxx was great too!

I wasn't too fond of the idea of Vincent dying but then again he deserved it....

I was a complete Tom Cruise fan back in the days... I liked everything he did. Then I stopped being that interested in movie guys and went over to the world of TV shows *lol* I haven't seen much of his new stuff, but he's a good actor, no argument there. And I agree that I wouldn't want him as a friend.

The only thing I never really liked about him was his full teeth showing smile *lol* I liked it better when it was a half smile :P

I had my "TV shows phase" I watched so many things... then SGA came and I focused ONLY on that.... lol

Lately, "my" TV shows have been reduced to V and Dexter, Breaking Bad maybe.....

But my husband and I have always enjoyed going to the cinema, so I think I have managed to keep myself up-to-date, so to speak, with the most important things.

Funny thing is that the best movies do not even have "eye-candies" per se...

I think I agree with you about that "half-smile" :)

Nice pics. :) I love Tom Cruise movies. I don't even remember how many times I watched Mission Impossible 2. Unfortunately I still haven't seen MI4, strangely all my friends said that they don't go to the cinema to watch it with me because of Tom Cruise. I don't like him as a person either but I love his movies. My favorite movies are Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Jerry Maguire, and The Last Samurai.
I am curious what more eye-candies will follow. :)

Mission Impossible 2 with THOSE climbing scenes in the beginning..... Mmmmmm.....

I can wholeheartedly recommend MI 4 - it's the best part of them all! You will love it!

Oh God, I'd forgotten how much I love the Last Samurai! Thx for reminding me! Born on the Fourth Of July was the latest thing that I watched of Cruise's. Brilliant acting.

Have you seen Vanilla Sky? This one made my jaw drop. Literally.

Oddly, that's the ONE film of Cruise's that I swtched off a quarter of the way through. I could see how it was good but I just didn't enjoy watching it.

Legend and Collateral comes to my mind thinking about Tom Cruise. Well, I have to say, I'm with you: Great actor but all this scientology-stuff and that it seems he's not the easiest actor to handle with (poor directors!) ...
Thanks to remind me to rewatch the MI-movies and ... uhm ... BTW, his teeth aren't completely natural ;)

Sure! It's SO popular in Hollywood! You simply have to look good. :) Just think about the amount of Botox that is used in "Beauty Clinics" on daily basis.... we wouldn't even have to look for examples too far away... :)

That's true - unfortunately. Maybe US shouldn't only be ... "inspired" by movies/shows of other countries (mostly GB I think) but also take a deeper look to the actors there.
