Meet the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, a close dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. If you read my 2014 Favorites post (if you haven't,
here it is), then you probably know that I loooove the NARS concealer. It's part of my daily routine for many reasons: it covers the dark circles, it's not cakey, blends well, can be used on blemishes and it's available locally (always a plus!). However, it is not the cheapest product out there. Sure the tube lasts a long time but my wallet cries a little at the thought of repurchasing it. With the packaging, you can't tell how much product you've got left but every time I use it, I keep needing to dip it in the tube more and more to get the product I need. That's when I know it's running low.
Enter the Maybelline Fit Me concealer. I've had this for a while now (ordered it online for someone who never got it from me) and I just haven't used it until now. It has the same packaging as the NARS one so it's easy to use with the wand applicator and I'm guessing hard to tell how much product you get left too. The actual product is a lot more liquidy than the NARS one but it's just as easy to blend. It covers my dark circles too but I find that I can't use it on blemishes. Probably because it is more illuminating that the NARS one or it could be just the shade that I have. The NARS one has a yellow undertone while the Maybelline one is more light yellow.
Is it a dupe? If you plan to use this for under the eyes, yes it is but not for blemishes. I think the NARS one is more versatile in that way. Still, for the price difference, I think the Maybelline one is just as good.
