Makeup Monday #6
Do you guys remember Makeup Monday? No? That's alright, I forgot about it for a while too. But now it's back and hopefully, it'll be a more regular segment in this blog for 2015. For those who are unfamiliar with Makeup Monday, it's a post about the makeup I wear on Mondays. It's sort of a way for me to battle the Monday blues by wearing really nice makeup. I also do videos which I post on Cameo.
My first Makeup Monday for 2015 is also an updated makeup routine because I've been wearing this makeup look the past week. I was inspired by Karima McKimmie's Victoria's Secret Inspired New Year's Eve makeup tutorial which is such a pretty look. It's basically glowy skin with pinky lids and lips. I super like the Josie Maran liquid/cream eyeshadow that she used but I don't have that one. I just made use of what I already have in my makeup vault and settled on the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Inked in Pink which also has that pink iridescence that the look was going for. I really like the look and I see myself wearing this when I don't want to stick with my usual browns and neutral eyeshadows. Here are the products I used to recreate this look:
