Nail Polish of the Week: Revlon Eclectic
First of all, please excuse the overly decorated photo. I just recently downloaded Over and Lumie and I am crazy about these two apps. Second, I know it's lipstick month over here at my blog but I can't totally ignore other beauty and skincare stuff, you know. Third is that it took me a while to make another Nail Polish of The Week post because my nail broke and I had to grow it out. I need to look into making my nails stronger. Anyway, with that intro out of the way, here's my nail polish of the week:
I painted my nails last weekend which explains why I decided with a summery color even though it's been raining the whole day. I blame the beauty blogs that I read. This color seems to be very popular (hello Essie Mint Candy Apple) this summer and I just fell in love with the color. I don't have anything like this in my limited nail polish collection so when I saw this last weekend I thought, hello Essie dupe! I'm going on and on about the color because that's the only thing I liked about this. It was really hard to get an even coat with its consistency. You can even see how uneven this applied on my nails. It also dries sooooo long. I waited for about an hour and it was still not dry. I dunno, maybe I need to get my hands on those Seche stuff. However, if you have the patience (and steady hand) to apply this on our nails, you wouldn't regret it as the color is really great. I keep on looking at my nails and loving how pretty they look.
