I'm with you on the nostalgia for old SPN; I've watched a mixture of both old and recent SPN this past week and its strange - the older episodes were so much simpler, yet had so much more depth. I'm sort of sad that it'll never be that show again. :(

This rain is horrendous isn't it - we're camping out tomorrow night and I'm sort of dreading it...

I loved a lot of season two, too, and I don't think I realised how much I...not disliked exactly, but... If I had an evening free with my SPN DVDs? I don't think any of the episodes in season three would be near the top of my to-watch list.
