oooh sooo good. im going to have to figure out what part is my favorite. Maybe the leg shot. Or the very very end. Although there are plenty of witty dialouge parts. haha yeah watching the movie, the whole time i was like, omg sooo bernard. Like i think you are benjamin. no joke. If you want to see that AMC special thing on it, i have it TiVo ed, its saved. This might be awkward, but im sure you can ask Chris if you can watch it, tell him that i said he has to. I meant to have you and Gabey over to watch it, but i forgot, and by the time i rememberd again it was too late.

leonard maltin's description of benjamin was something along the lines of a "frightened rabbit", which i think is classic. and the first like twenty minutes is my totally favorite part.

Mrs. Robinson takes a cigarette from her purse and
lights it.

MRS. ROBINSON: Is there an ashtray in here?

BEN: No.

MRS. ROBINSON: Oh - I forgot. The track star doesn't smoke.

apparently that one word/line of "plastics" was like totally revolutionary and become a whole huge catch phrase during that time
