Nice beginning. I rarely read crossover, and since I haven't been in SGA for a while, it was another reason. But both boys are cute. And the fact that, hopefully, nothing too SGA is thrown into Nubmb3rs, it's okay for me :p Update soon!

The whole Alan knowing thing comes from The Weight of Secrets for a Secret Agent which I wrote over a year ago. I usually don't have any great tie-ins between the various fics I post for this pairing, etc, but there are a few things I like to keep constant in an attempt for there to still be some connection between them all -- Alan knowing being one of them.

have i mentioned I love it when you write this pairing? I think you're the only one who does this and every time i see something in this 'verse it makes me all goggle'ly inside =). Do you have an idea in mind around what time frame this is in the SGA world?

Thank you! :D I'm not the only one -- bluflamingo has written a couple that are brilliant. :D The timeline for SGA is around season four aka 2008 for this fic at least. Both fandoms have pretty easy timelines to line up in a way, as Lorne joins the Atlantis expedition in 2005 and that's roughly about the same time Colby joins the FBI in LA.

I really, really liked this! I'm a David/Colby 'shipper, but your Colby/Lorne is so sweet and understated that I can't help but believe them as a couple. Love David walking in on them like that, hee! Love that Lorne's not quite as nonchalant as all that, and Colby can tell.
